First, like most any other job, you will need a resume. This helps in weeding out the potential job candidates from those who are lacking in the experience or qualifications needed. It also needs to have the precise information such as:

· Your correct address, phone numbers (including cell) and email address

· Employment history, starting with your most recent and working your way backward. You also need to include with this history, full business names, addresses and contact names and phone numbers.

· Education (including internships)

· Skills

· Important clubs or organizations that will make you look like a better candidate for the position you are applying

· References, including full names, addresses and contact phone numbers. You should include at least 4, yet have two others on hand. These should include both personal and business related references.

You may also want to have a professional cover letter handy. These are not always used when applying for online jobs.

Legitimate Jobs Online

With the internet the more likely by minutes, it's time to take advantage of it! If you do not have a job because of global economic meltdown, there is still opportunity for you to make money, and even more than you do in your job that long. There are many legitimate online jobs such as:

  • Pay per click: You basically get paid every time someone clicks on the ads displayed on your site.
  • Pay to click: You get paid to view ads from other companies / sites for 30-60 seconds.
  • Blogging: It can take some time before you start making decent money as you need to start creating a blog and to add fresh content regularly, and do SEO (search engine optimization). Once you start to get visitors, you do not make money selling personal links, PPC and affiliate programs.
  • Email, articles, affiliate marketing: You sell other people products or your own and you get a commission if the sale of other people.
  • Freelancing: everything you do and you do not have a job set. One day, you can write to someone and the next day you can create a website. It all depends on what is desired by customers, so you need to know a little of everything.
  • Website design: create a site for your company or yourself, and get paid for it, but this can be very difficult if you do not know html and php.
  • Writing: Simple, just write for other people.
  • Taking paid surveys online: I still for the last one because this is the best. Anyone without a degree, online experience or knowledge at all can make money taking surveys online. This is far best legitimate work online.
